Artistic Director Daniele Strawmyre has been selected as a nEW Festival Artist in Residence for 2011-2012! Daniele will be presenting Cant on January 19th and 21st at Painted Bride Art Center in Philadelphia. Cant explores themes of celebrity, cold capitalism, creativity, and isolation, (those timeless American themes), at the center of a dance trilogy that extrapolates on the world and words of PT Barnum and the rare entertainers he promoted..
Collaborating artists include Kate Watson-Wallace, Hedy Weiland, David Konyck, Gwen Rooker, Mauri Walton, Matthew Ricchini, Nancy Megley, and Andrew Geller.
